이제 종말이 가까이 왔어요   그래서 난 인생의 마지막 장을  대하게 되었소   내 친구여 내가 분명히 말하겠소   나에 대해 확실하게 밝히겠습니다.   나는 인생을 최선을 다해 살아왔고   많은 경험을 했습니다   나는 최선을 다해 노력하며   나의 길을 걸었어요       때론 벗어나고 싶었지만   내가 해야 할 일을 후회없이 다 했습니다   제각기 주어진 생을 살아가듯이   나도 내 길을 따라서 걸어 왔소   나는 최선을 다해 노력하며   나의 길을 걸었어요                 당신도 아는 것처럼        그런 시간들을 지내왔오         씹기도하고 물어뜯기도 하며        의심스러울 때는 다시 내뱉기도했오      나는 그 모든것을 다 직면하고 겪었어요         그러면서 나의 길을 걸어왔다오                           사랑도 했고 웃기도 하고 울기도 했지요   난 만족감도 얻었고 좌절도 겪었오   이제 눈물을 거두고   내 삶의 모든 의미를 깨닫습니다   내 삶을 돌이켜보며 말합니다      and did it my way                 Yes, it was my way

And now the end is near   and so I face the final curtain   My friend I'll say it clear   I'll state my case of which   I'm certain   I've lived a life that's full   I travelled each and every highway   And more much more than this   I did  it my way     Regrets I've had a few  But then  again   too few to mention I did what I had to do    And saw it through without exemption   I planned each chartered course   Each care full step along the by way   And more much more than this   I did it my way 내가 해야했던 일들...   Yes there were times I'm sure   you knew   When I bit off more than I could chew   But through it all when there  was doubt   I ate it up and spit it out   I faces it all and I stood tall   And did it my way     I've loved I've laughed and cried     I've had my fill, my share of losing   And now as tears subside    I find it all so amusing   To think I did all that and may    I say not in a shy way   Oh no oh no not me    I did it my way     for what is a man what has he got  If not himself   then he has naught   To say the things he truly feels   And not the words of  one who  kneels   The record shows I took the blows   and did it my way   Yes, it was my way
